Profile

Dr. Haitham M. Ahmed is an Associate Professor in the Mining Engineering Department at King Abdulaziz University. He have earned his M.Sc (2009) and Ph.D (2015) from University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver Canada, and bachelor degree (B.S) from the Civil Engineering Department with an honor degree in 2002. For over a decade he has excelled in both academia and industry. Dr. Ahmed specializes in geotechnical engineering, contributing significantly through many academic and industrial projects, culminating in approximately 30 peer-reviewed journal publications, most of which are indexed by Web of Knowledge ISI. His multidisciplinary expertise extends to project management, holding both a Project Management Professional (PMP) and the title of Professional Engineer (PEng).
